In 2008 the Chief Executive developed a Strategic Plan to build on the work of the past and to provide a clear direction for the organisation in the future.
The following is an outline of the strategic direction of the organisation and what we want to achieve in the next three years.

Strategic Objective One
To raise the profile of the organisation through our media, policy and campaigning work and to be known as a solution-focussed thought leader which represents the voice of parents and carers on educational issues.
Strategic Objective Two
To increase our income through diverse fundraising approaches and through increased trading activities, so that we are not over-reliant upon any single funder.
Strategic Objective Three
To partner with other organisations and institutions to advance ACE’s mission and objectives.
Organisational Objective One
To develop and consolidate the different areas of work and structure of ACE, so that we can provide high quality services to parents, carers and other key clients.
Organisational Objective Two
To work towards the standards laid out in the NCVO Code of Good Governance and to become recognised for our progressive governance arrangements.
Organisational Objective Three
To introduce Business Performance and Knowledge Management Systems, so that we can capture evidence-based information and report on the difference that we are making as an organisation.
