The ACE Education (ACE) website is maintained for your personal use and viewing. Access and use by you of this site constitutes acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions that take effect from the date of first use.

Who are we?

ACE Education is a small limited liability partnership (LLP)providing advice and information for parents on education issues in England and training and consultancy services for education professionals.  Our registered office is ACE Education, 72 Durnsford Road, London N11 2EJ. Our LLP number is OC378964.

 How do we collect data from you?

We obtain information about you when you use our services for example when you purchase an advice booklet from our website, book a place on a training course or when you sign up to receive communications from us.

 What type of data is collected?

The personal data we collect might include your name, address, telephone number and email address.  If you access the ACE website as an anonymous user we do not store or capture your personal information, apart from logging your IP address that is automatically recognised by our web server.  We do not use cookies for collecting user information and we will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of our web server.

 If you purchase an advice booklet from our website your payment information is not collected by us, it is collected by PayPal, our third party payment processor.  You can access the Paypal Privacy Policy here.

How is your personal data used?

We use your personal data to:

  • carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and ACE
  • send you communications which you have consented to and that may be of interest to you.

 We will retain your data for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity or to fulfill any statutory obligations.

Who can access your data?

We will not sell, rent or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Third party service providers 

We may pass your data to our third party service providers for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf.

We use Mailchimp to manage our subscription lists and to send marketing emails.  You can view the Mailchimp privacy policy here.  We will only disclose the personal data that is necessary for Mailchimp to deliver the service.

How we keep your personal data secure

All personal data you provide to us will be stored securely, both physically and electronically.  We have put in place technical and organisational security measures to minimise the possibility of the loss or unauthorised access of your personal data.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain external links to other websites run by other organisations. Our privacy statement applies only to ACE Education.  When you link to other websites you should view their own privacy statements.

Your rights

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us.

We will not contact you for marketing purposes unless you have given us your prior consent.  You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us at enquiries@ace-ed.org.uk

You can request access to the personal information ACE Education holds about you or ask to update it at any time by emailing us at enquries@ace-ed.org.uk

The names, images and logos identifying ACE Education, are proprietary marks of ACE Education. Copying our logos and/or any other third party logos accessed via this website is not permitted without prior approval from the relevant copyright owner.

Virus protection

Purchased PDF downloads

Purchased downloads are non-returnable and non-refundable. Therefore, once the pdf has been purchased by you and is available for download, your order may not be cancelled or refunded. If, however, you experience difficulty accessing your download then help is available. Please email enquiries@ace-ed.org.uk so we can ensure you receive the pdf you have purchased.
